Product Description

The materials of shell and tube Heat Exchanger are generally carbon steel, stainless steel and copper. When the tube plate made of carbon steel is used as the cooler, the weld joint between the tube plate and the tube often leaks, and the leakage enters the cooling water system to pollute the environment and cause material waste.

In the manufacture of Shell And Tube Heat Exchanger, manual arc welding is usually used for the welding of tube sheet and tube. There are some defects in weld shape, such as depression, air hole, slag inclusion, etc., and the distribution of weld stress is uneven. When using, the tubesheet is in contact with the industrial cooling water, and the impurities, salts, gases and microorganisms in the industrial cooling water will form corrosion to the tubesheet and weld, which is what we often call electrochemical corrosion. The results show that there are various ions and dissolved oxygen in industrial water, whether it is fresh water or sea water. The concentration change of chlorine ion and oxygen plays an important role in the corrosion shape of metal. In addition, the complexity of metal structure also affects the corrosion morphology. Therefore, pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion are the main corrosion types of tubesheet and tubesheet welds. From the outside, there will be a lot of corrosion products and deposits on the surface of the tube sheet, with pits of different sizes distributed. When seawater is used as medium, galvanic corrosion will occur. Chemical corrosion is the corrosion of medium. If the tube sheet of heat exchanger contacts with various chemical media, it will be corroded by chemical medium. In addition, there will be bimetallic corrosion between the tube sheet and the tube.
